Treasure Island Talk

water_skipper asked:

What is the cheapest motel on the Las Vegas strip that has a swimming pool? I’ve been there before and stayed at the cheapest motel possible. This time I want to get some exercise so I think I’ll spend a little extra for a motel with a swimming pool. I definitely want a motel on the strip or a short (half hour) walking distance from the strip.

Where on the Las Vegas strip is the Tahiti resort located?

Which casinos, of the major properties on the Las Vegas Strip, have the cleanest air? I have asthma, so I’m looking for casinos with good air quality control. I think some factors are high ceilings and proper ventilation systems.
I realize that smoking is allowed in all casinos, and that they will all have a degree of smokiness, but some must be better than others.

I’m staying downtown vegas in july and renting a car for a day. I will be staying up on the strip later on my trip but planning a day with the rental. Any suggestions for places to go that is “off the beaten path”? Also, will it be to hot for a convertable in end of July?

First time going to Vegas- my 21st, no less, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good place on the strip to go to get a tattoo done. Prices would help too :)

Thanks!
Well, I’ve checked out a couple of those, before coming to Yanswers, I just need prices, decent prices. :)

My crew is going to make a visit to the old Las Vegas strip when we go out next week. I’m just wondering what there actually is to do over there, except take in some of the classic Vegas culture?
Sorry, by “old strip” I meant Fremont St. downtown. I’m from Chicago, so I may have used the wrong description.

We have never been to Vegas, but are planning a trip in August. We want to stay on the strip so that we can walk to most everything without having to rent a car. I have been checking out Circus Circus, MGM Grand, Excalibur, Golden Nugget, Tropicana, Harrah’s and Monte Carlo. We would like the hotel to have some activities and restaurants built in also. Please help…..all of the hotels look so nice it is hard to choose!

My husband and I are planing a trip to Vegas. We are not sure where to stay and are looking at Treasure Island and the Trump Hotel. Which is better? Any other suggestions? I am looking for a moderate priced hotel I know the Bellagio is great but too expensive. Any ideas?
